Dr Tara Bisheh

Dr. Tara Bisheh is a Doctor of Audiology, and the founder of Confidence Hearing, an independent audiology clinic in Brighton.

Her professional background includes a Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University USA, a Master of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Audiology from Beheshti Medical University, along with many years of clinical experience in various fields of audiology. Tara’s advanced audiological knowledge, years of global clinical expertise and great communication skills means she can deliver high-quality, personalized care that continues far beyond diagnosis and treatment. Compassionate ongoing counselling for patients, their communication partners and their families is paramount in her practice doctrine.

Tara believes that hearing loss is a hidden disability and a chronic condition, where possible linkage with other medical conditions is often overlooked. So, this made her establish her practice on the principles of interventional audiology, employing regular assessments and treatments to prevent hearing loss which leads to or exacerbates other adverse conditions.

Tara is a fully accredited member of Audiology Australia and can provide services to a wide section of the community under the Australian Government Hearing Services and Medicare programs.

She is committed to a person-centered holistic approach, developing a customized solution for her patients as individuals, so they can reach their maximum hearing potential.

Outside of audiology Tara loves to spend time with her family, bike riding and swimming at the beach. She is a devoted spectator at her son’s sport and is currently trying to stay afloat in her new passion, kayaking.
